La Peluda
Description and features
La Peluda is much more than a wine; it is a journey into the past and a reflection of the landscape that surrounds it. Its vines, planted between 1925 and 1935, are spread over a mixture of limestone, granitic sand and alluvium soils, creating a mosaic that provides unique nuances. At 370 metres above sea level and in a dry Mediterranean climate, these vines have learned to listen to the earth.
Its production is patient and precise: a slow maceration and fermentation, which lasts between 12 and 18 days, followed by an ageing period of 18 months in polyethylene eggs. This approach allows the purity of the grape to be highlighted and the balance that only time can offer.
With a production of just 1200 bottles, La Peluda is an authentic and limited expression of its origin. It is a wine for those who seek more than just flavour: a connection with the history, soil and character of Montsant.
